Hugh Jackman, an Australian actor, recently hosted the first night of his concert series called From New York, With Love where he opened up about a gripe he has with his film, Deadpool and Wolverine.
"It was an incredible movie, I did it with two of my closest friends, Ryan Reynolds and Shawn Levy, the director. And listen, everything about it was kind of perfect. The experience, well, almost perfect. I had one little gripe, sorry Ryan to bring it up,” he began.
Referencing the scene where Deadpool dances to the song Bye Bye Bye, he continued, "Ryan and Shawn were writers on the movie and the opening of the movie had this dance sequence, I don't know if you saw it. It had the character of Deadpool dancing to an *NSYNC song.”
Although he accepted that he did not "have to be in every frame of the movie”, he found it strange that the two were together in most scenes "except for the dance sequence."
"I mean, that's one area where I kind of — I just have a little bit of experience," the actor joked.
He concluded with the decision to give a little performance of his own, "I'm not gonna do you the original incredible choreography by Darrin Henson, I'm certainly not gonna try and match Ryan's dance double Nick Pauley.”
Performing a fast paced jump rope routine, he brought it to an end with a small celebration.
