Ed Sheeran just made history!

The 33-year-old Shape Of You singer, who is currently on his Mathematics Tour, revealed that he has now become the first international artist ever to perform a concert in country of Bhutan.

Taking to his official Instagram account, Sheeran gave insights into his performance through the caption as well as the video he uploaded.

“Had the honour to be the first ever international artist to play Bhutan last night. what a gig, what a country, what a beautiful place with incredible people,” the Perfect crooner wrote in his caption.

He continued, “lemme know if i can move there, please and thank you. and also thank you so much for welcoming me and my touring crew, and for every volunteer who helped put on such a historic show. hopefully see you again soon !”

Meanwhile in the video, the Grammy-winning musician could be heard saying how he believed it was “mad that this is the first international concert here” adding, "I hope that there's many more to come."

Sheeran also revealed that he had the privilege of sharing a meal with country’s royal couple, King Jigme Khesar and Queen Jetsun Pema, telling his followers in the video, "I went for dinner with the king and queen yesterday and they said, 'We just want people coming to the country that want to love and respect the country and understand the ideals.'"

"Yeah, I feel super honored that I was chosen and I can't wait to play. This is like such my jam," he added.

Further on in the video, as Ed Sheeran could be seen performing on stage, he could be heard telling the audience:

"To be able to visit a country like Bhutan, to be able to stand onstage and bring this show here. I can remember playing to an empty room and now I get to play the first international concert in Bhutan — ever.”
