Taylor Swift's sweet gesture to Harry Styles comes to light

Taylor Swift’s birthday gift to Harry Styles was just revealed.

It has been over ten years since the pop icons broke up however insights into their past relationship keep being revealed.

An indie band, The Temper Trap opened up on TikTok recently and revealed that back when Taylor and Harry were dating, that is early-on in their careers, from 2012 to 2013, the Lover crooner had approached them to help her with a birthday gift for the As It Was hitmaker.

For context, Harry was huge fan of the band’s song, Sweet Disposition and even had some of the lyrics to the song tattooed, however, in a hilarious turn of events, it was revealed that he got the wordings inked wrong.

Their lead singer, Dougy Mandagi, mentioned, "I think [Styles] tweeted that he got it, so then, you know, it was brought to our attention.”

Harry’s inner arm has the words, “Won’t stop ‘til we surrender,” to which the musician revealed that he and his bandmates “were laughing about how it was wrong.”

“And won't stop 'til it's over / Won't stop to surrender,” are the actual lyrics of the song, Sweet Disposition, as per Genius.

Recalling how after they learned of the Watermelon Sugar High singer’s admiration and wrong tattoo, Taylor came up to them at the ARIA Awards, for a favour.

Dougy revealed, remembering the Blank Space hitmaker as a “presenter or something” at the ceremony, “came to our green room with a piece of paper,” and stated, “She goes, ‘Oh, can you write it? Can you write the lyrics for my boyfriend, it’s his birthday?’ We’re like, ‘Okay, cool.’”

However, he revealed he was quite confused over what to do, “Do I write the right lyrics, or do I write the wrong lyrics?” And, then admitted, “I can’t remember which one I wrote.”
