Sean 'Diddy' Combs' terms federal investigation against him as ‘illegal'

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ legal team has accused federal investigators of misconduct and termed their process illegal.

The 55-year-old rapper's legal team has now made new filing that contains major claims against the investigators.

According to the filing, obtained by DailyMail.com, the investigators posing as prison guards illegally searched the music mogul’s cell and seized privileged materials.

A filing from his lawyers argues the alleged search was not about securing contraband but was aimed at gathering evidence for the prosecution.

The legal team also accused them of listening in on Comb’s confidential communications.

The Bad Boy Records founder’s team has called it “illegal”.

Sean "Diddy" Combs has been accused of sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution for which he has been serving at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since September 16, last year.

A three-time Grammy winner, on other hand, denies all the charges filed against him and pleads not guilty.

Moreover, the disgraced music mogul will go on trial on sex trafficking charges in May this year.
