King Charles has released his first statement following his estranged son Prince Harry’s victory against NGN publishers.

Taking to Instagram, palace shared a photo of King Charles in traditional tartan kilt, tie, and brown sporran with a sweet statement.

The photo was captured by Millie Pilkington in the library at Balmoral Castle in Aberdeenshire, Scotland this past fall.

King Charles statement reads, “Wishing those celebrating a very happy #BurnsNight tonight.

“The King in the Library at Balmoral Castle, taken by @milliepilkingtonphotography."

King Charles photo was shared in honor of Burns night, a celebration of the life of Scotland’s national poet, Robert Burns, which takes place every January 25.

This is King Charles first major statement after Prince Harry settled the lawsuit as NGN publisher agreed to pay him "substantial damages."

The NGN issued a wide-ranging apology and admission of wrongdoing, in what Harry´s lawyer called "a monumental victory" that underlined the need for further probes.

According to Reuters, NGN also admitted it had intruded into the private life of Harry's late mother, Princess Diana.

Sources familiar with the deal said the settlement totalled more than 10 million pounds ($12.33 million), mostly in legal fees.
