Strictly star Wynne Evans has apologised for an "inappropriate and unacceptable" remark he apparently made after being caught making a crude remark behind the scenes of the Strictly live tour.

For the unversed, the 52-year-old singer, was heard making the remark to a professional dancer, Janette Manrara in a video which was filmed during the launch event on January 16, 2025.

This comment, according to metro.pk, was said to have earned him a reprimand from BBC bosses, who told him that such behaviour would not be tolerated.

Now, the Daily Mail on Sunday, January 26, reported that the Welsh opera while apologising for his behaviour in a statement, said, "My language was inappropriate and unacceptable for which I sincerely apologise.”

A spokesperson for the Strictly live tour and BBC Studios said, "We were not previously aware of the remark and did not receive any complaints.

"We have made it very clear to Wynne that we do not tolerate such behaviour on the tour."

His apology comes after Strictly introduced chaperones "at all times" during rehearsals following several accusations of bullying on the show.
