Scott Wolf, an American actor, opened up about his time working with Treat Williams, who passed away in 2023 through a motorcycle accident, on Evermore.
Sitting down for a new interview with TV Insider, he revealed that the two had become "really good friends" despite playing each other’s foes on the series, "Loved Treat and his wife and their kids. He was a beautiful actor."
Williams had portrayed the role of Dr. Andrew Brown, a neurosurgeon who moved to a new town with his family after the death of his wife. Meanwhile Wolf, who came on in season three, played the over passionate Jake Hartman.
"Everwood was a really wonderful experience. Moved my wife and I to Utah [to film], where we still live. Some amazing people on that show. Treat, rest his soul, Chris Pratt, Greg Smith, Emily VanCamp — just like a beautiful cast of actors,” he reminisced.
The star added, “That kind of family drama, that kind of character-based show was what I had obviously cut my teeth on and loved more than anything.”
"He and I were antagonistic with each other on the show, which was fun. If I could go back, it would be fun to play a role that was much more sort of joined with him because most of our on-camera stuff was contentious," Wolf explained.
He concluded, "But [Williams] was a wonderful human being, and I had been a fan of his work for years and years and years. It was a gift to get a chance to work with him and get to know his family.”
