Kate Middleton enjoys private party with Duchess Sophie

Princess of Wales Kate Middleton enjoyed a private party with Duchess Sophie on the latter’s 60th birthday, a new report has claimed.

Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh celebrated her 60th birthday on 20 January.

According to a report by The Sun, per Hello, Duchess Sophie was surrounded by friends and family including Kate Middleton and Prince William on her special day.

Kate Middleton and Prince William also wished Duchess Sophie on social media, saying: “Wishing The Duchess of Edinburgh a very happy 60th birthday today!”

They reposted the royal family’s post on X, formerly Twitter handle, which carries Duchess Sophie’s new photo.

The palace had shared the photo of the duchess.

The palace tweeted, “Ahead of The Duchess of Edinburgh’s 60th birthday on Monday, a new picture has been released.

“The photograph was taken at Bagshot Park in January by Christina Ebenezer.”

The palace also said, “As The Duchess looks ahead to turning 60, Her Royal Highness has a renewed sense of excitement and commitment to her work around gender equality and looks forward to further embracing and championing this issue in the years to come.”
