Kensington Palace, the office of Kate Middleton and Prince William, has made a major announcement ahead of King Charles big move in Poland today.

The Kensington Palace announcement was shared by royal expert Rebecca English on X, formerly Twitter handle.

She tweeted, “NEW: The Prince of Wales will today hold a private meeting with Prime Minister Sir Starmer.”

The royal expert continued, “According to convention the heir to the throne meets with the British PM annually. As it is a private meeting, however, there will be no public read out of their discussions.”

The palace announcement comes amid reports King Charles will make a speech in Poland commemorating the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz.

Taking to X, royal expert Roya Nikkhah tweeted, “The King will make a speech in Poland today commemorating the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, focusing on how the testimony of survivors ‘teaches us to cherish our freedoms, to challenge prejudice and never to be a bystander in the face of violence and hate.’”

King Charles is making his first visit - and the first by any British monarch - to Auschwitz.
