Advocate killed, father injured in Karachi firing

KARACHI: Advocate Shakil Jan was killed when unknown gunmen opened fire near ICI bridge in Karachi Friday, Geo News reported.

According to police, Advocate Shakil Jan was on his way with his father Ali Ahmed Jan when unidentified culprits opened fire on his car.

As a result of firing, Advocate Shakil Jan died on the spot while his father sustained injuries.

Police and rescue teams reached the spot, and the body and injured were shifted to hospital.

Police told that the incident is the result of target killing and apparently the deceased’s guard was also involved in the conspiracy.
