KARACHI: Russian Navy Commander Rear Admiral Alexei Sisyoev has conveyed his country's readiness to provide artificial intelligence (AI) technology to Pakistan.

Responding to a question whether Moscow will help Islamabad in AI technologies during an exclusive interview with Geo News, Commander of the Russian Navy’s Primorskaya Flotilla of the Pacific Fleet Rear Amidral Sisyoev said that Russia is always ready to share these experiences with Pakistan.

Noting that Russia was closely monitoring all peacekeeping operations in Pakistan, the commander remarked that it could be said with certainty that the number of countries and delegates in the peace exercises is increasing over time.

Rear Admiral Sisyoev further added that naval exercises help to see that practically all countries have the same issues, the dimensions of maritime security are the same and they should solve these problems together on the basis of dialogue.

"It's not just Russia and Ukraine. If they are being sold all over the world, it will be very valuable to get experience from a country that is directly facing the threats," he said in response to a question concerning AI technology.

Furthermore, he disclosed that as per his knowledge, Pakistan’s military command is planning a visit to Russia soon and during this visit, they would see things happening.
