KARACHI: Syed Khursheed Shah, senior leader of Pakistan People’s Party, clinched NA-199 Sukkur with 72,584 votes, beating his rival Inayatullah of Muslim League-F who got 27,252 votes, according to unofficial results. Qureshi secured 33, 985 votes.
In another result, PPP’s Owais Muzaffar received 27,100 votes and won PS-88 Thatta-5 while his rival Haji Usman, an independent candidate, who bagged 12,300 votes stood second.
Pakistan Muslim League-N’s Chaudhry Ghulam Raza secured provincial assembly seat PP-189 Okara with 39,199 votes while Abdul Razaq of PML-F bagged 21,429 votes as runner up.
PPP’s Sardar Kamal Khan won Badin-224 with 87,670 votes, beating PML-F candidate Ali Asghar Halipoto who received 44,900 votes.
Muhammad Nazir Khan, an independent candidate, won NA-40 in FATA with 18,007 votes while Aurangzeb Khan bagged 14,800 as runner up.
From PS-28 Nawabshah, PPP’s Dr Bahadur Khan Dahiri bagged 68,495 votes to emerge victorious, defeating PML-F’s Ghulam Haider who got 7404 votes.
