MIANWALI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan has won NA-71 Mianwali with huge mandate, bagging 101,000 votes, Geo News reported.

According to unofficial results, Ubaidullah Shadi Khel received 53,000 votes as a runner up from the same constituency.

In an unprecedented development, the PTI has so far emerged as the second biggest party in terms of wins in the historic countrywide elections of 2013.

Earlier, the PTI Chairman Imran Khan won National Assembly constituency NA-1 Peshawar-1 with 66,465, defeating Awami National Party stalwart Ghulam Ahmed Bilour who secured 44,210 votes.

Accepting defeat, the ANP leader said that to lose and win was a part of politics.

Imran Khan lost NA-122 Lahore-5 seat (61,300 votes) against Pakistan Muslim League-N candidate Sardar Ayaz Sadiq (71,420 votes).

Imran Khan was running for four National Assembly seats.

The result for Imran Khan competing against PML-N candidate Hanif Abbasi in Rawalpindi is still awaited.
