Shanto expresses confidence as Bangladesh gear up for India clash

DUBAI: Bangladesh cricket team captain Najmul Hossain Shanto has expressed confidence and determination ahead of the crucial match against India in the ICC Champions Trophy. 

He believes that in such tournaments, any team has the potential to win, and Bangladesh are ready to face the challenge.

Speaking at a press conference held at Dubai Cricket Stadium, Shanto said: "In a tournament like the ICC Champions Trophy, any team can win because even favorites can has a bad day." 

He highlighted that the team would field new players and will rely on hard work and strategy to secure victory.

Shanto further stated that the entire team is motivated and confident about their performance against India. He assured fans that the Bangladesh team will put up their best efforts and challenge the opposition with their skills and dedication.

He acknowledged the difficulty of the upcoming match, describing it as a big challenge, but reiterated his belief in his team's potential. 

"We are determined to defeat the opposition with our performance," said Shanto, adding that every player is committed to contributing their best for a positive result.

Bangladesh are set to face India tomorrow, February 20, at Dubai Cricket Stadium.
