CDA launches ‘Clean and Green Islamabad’ campaign
ISLAMABAD: Chairman Capital Development Authority (CDA), Syed Tahir Shahbaz Tuesday urged the citizens to participate in "Clean and Green Islamabad" campaign which would prove that they have keen interest in resolving civic issues.

Syed Tahir Shahbaz said this at the launching ceremony of the sector-wise "Clean and Green Islamabad" campaign here in Sector G-7.

On this occasion Member Administration, Munir Ahmad Chaudhry, Member Engineering, Sanaullah Aman, Member Environment Ahsan Ali Mangi, other officials of CDA, School children, member of civil society, Sector Citizens Committee, Traders and a large number of citizens were also present.

Awareness Walk was held from CDA Camp Office to Police station G-7 Markaz.

The Chairman CDA directed the officers and officials of Environment, Sanitation, Municipal Administration and Engineering Wings of the Authority to resolve the grievances of residents and traders of Sector G-7 on priority basis.

The camp office would be operative for three days, adding that he would personally visit the camp office at different times.

He directed Member Engineering to pay special attention regarding patch work on road so that the commuters could not suffered.

Earlier, Chairman CDA, Syed Tahir Shahbaz visited different areas of Sector to examine roads, parks, water supply system, sewerage system and grounds.

He directed the concerned formations of the authority to carry out repair, maintenance and renovation work in those areas.
