Michelle Trachtenberg has died, police sources told The Post without specifying what is the cause of the death. She was 39.

Her death came on the heels of troubling posts she had been posting in the last few months on social media.

According to The Post, fans on the internet observed a sharp loss in her weight as sources alleged she recently had a liver transplant.

Looking back at Michelle's career, she started as a child artist in several Nickelodeon shows and made her film debut in 1996's Harriet the Spy.

She also appeared in hit series, including Gossip Girl and Buffy the Vampire Slayer.
