ISLAMABAD: The commuters are exposed to blazing sun and continue to sweat as they wait at Zero Point Interchange which has no proper bus stop and waiting sheds.
Hundreds of commuters’ daily use local transport for traveling in the city, but wait on the roadsides facing hot weather conditions.
Fahim Ahmed, a commuter waiting at Zero Point bus stop said that he always waited on footpath or the roadside for transport due to absence of proper bus stop and sheds.
He said in the summer season and after monsoon rains it becomes difficult for the commuters to wait in absence of a bus stop.
When contacted an official of CDA said it is planning to construct a proper bus stops and waiting sheds, which were either removed or damaged during construction of the Zero Point Interchange. (APP)
