The Emirates Cricket Board (ECB) announced that cricket fans observing fasts need not worry as free Iftar boxes will be provided to spectators at the Dubai Cricket Stadium during the ICC Champions Trophy match.
Fans who are observing the fast can enjoy matches without any concerns, as iftar boxes will be delivered directly to their seats, allowing them to focus on the cricket.
Whether fans are seated in the General Stand, Premier Stand, Pavilion Stand, or Platinum Stand, all fasting spectators will receive free Iftar boxes.
Ramadan is expected to begin on March 1 in the Middle East, while the Group A match between New Zealand and India will take place on March 2.
The tournament's semi-final is also scheduled for March 4 at the Dubai stadium as India advanced to the eliminator and will play all of their matches in the UAE.
On the other hand, Pakistan ended their campaign in the Champions Trophy without a win after rain washed out their dead rubber against Bangladesh at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium earlier today.
The Group A match between the two eliminated sides was of little consequence, and steady drizzle poured cold water on defending champions Pakistan's hopes of a consolation victory.
It has been a forgettable campaign for Mohammad Rizwan-led Pakistan in the first global tournament to be staged in the country since 1996, and their six-wicket defeat by arch-rivals India will particularly hurt.
Bangladesh also finished their winless campaign with a point.
