Inside Taylor Swift's shaken up girl squad as singer distances from Blake Lively

Since Taylor Swift has removed Blake Lively from her bestie spot, her remaining gal pals are competing to become her number one pal, per insiders.

Swift is apparently distancing herself from her longtime pal Blake amid her ongoing legal battle with It Ends With Us costar and director Justin Baldoni.

The singer’s reason for doing so seems to be that she has been dragged into the matter, with Baldoni alleging that the Gossip Girl actress scheduled a meeting at her home when the Love Story hitmaker was there in an attempt to pressurize him to go along with her demands. 

He also shared a screenshot where the actress called her husband Ryan Reynolds and Swift her “dragons” and called herself Khaleesi form Game of Thrones.

Now, the Grammy winner’s girl squad is scrambling to replace Blake.

An insider told Radar Online: "Everyone has heard about this issue with Taylor and Blake, so there is a sense of the squad circling the wagons."

"Selena rushed to arrange a girls' night out for the two of them. She wanted to show her solidarity, but no doubt she was staking her claim," the mole claimed.

Soon after, the singer was seen dining with Danielle Haim, 36, and Alana Haim, 33.

"All of Taylor's friends have been reaching out to make plans, it's just a matter of whether she accepts or not," the mole added.

The Lavender Haze hitmaker is even being showered with gifts by people who want to get closer to her.

"They're sending flowers by the dozens. Taylor's gotten jewelry, clothes for her cats, all sorts of stuff clearly aimed at earning her favor and jumping into Blake's spot... they're being so obvious," the source said.
