KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and former minister for Local Bodies Agha Siraj Durrani on Wednesday said that his party could hold local body elections within six months in Sindh, Geo News reported.
Addressing a press conference here, Mr. Durrani said that President Asif Ali Zardari would decide the name of next chief minister Sindh.
Expressing his wish to join hands with the Muttahida Qaumi Movement, Siraj said that MQM was their coalition partner in the past tenure, therefore, it was their right to move forward with PPP.
He added that in the largest interest of Sindh, they were ready to hold dialogues with anybody.
