NP mandates PML-N to form Balochistan government: Tahir Bizenjo

QUETTA: Secretary General National Party (NP), Tahir Bizinjo, Wednesday said said that his party had mandated Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to form provincial government in Balochistan, Geo News reported.

Addressing a press conference here on Wednesday, Bizenjo said he hoped that a decision regarding the province’s chief minister would be made by Thursday.

Bizenjo added that a government in Balochistan is successful if it is supported by the centre. “Problems in Balochistan are the biggest issue in the country and should be the top priority of the government.”

He further said that the PML-N had majority and was in a position to solve the issues in Balochistan. Bizenjo also supported the decision to make permanent teachers who were hired under the Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan package. “If the notification to make them permanent is not issued by Thursday, the NP will take part in the teachers protest.”

Meanwhile, teachers who have been protesting for the last three days have decided to postpone their protest for one day following the announcement be Bizenjo.
