KARACHI: At least five people were killed and three others injured in firing incidents across the city on Thursday.
According to rescue sources, unidentified men shot dead Hassan s/o Yaqoob at Fawara Chowk in Garden area, within the limits of Garden Police Station. The body of 33-year old victim was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK).
An unidentified person aged 35 was gunned down at parking plaza in Saddar. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center Hospital.
In another incident, two tortured bodies of unidentified men were recovered from Steel Town Link Road, within the limits of Steel Town Police Station. The bodies were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital.
A mutilated body was also recovered from Mewa Shah Graveyard in Lyari area of the metropolis. The body of 35-year-old victim was shifted to Edhi Sohrab Goth Mortuary.
Unidentified men opened fire in Khadda market area of the metropolitan, injuring three people. They were identified as Adnan s/o Iqbal, Ramzan s/o Ghulam and Khalid s/o Tajuddin. They were shifted to the CHK. (PPI)
