PESHAWAR: The elected chief minister of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly, Pervaiz Khattak said Friday that drone attacks could not be stopped without the approval of the federal government.
“If we had formed the federal government, American would not dare to conduct drone attacks,” Khattak said on the floor of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly.
The elected chief minister added that his party alone could not solve the issue of terrorism. Khattak called on PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif to have a clear cut policy on drone attacks and terrorism. “We will support the federal government if there is a clear policy.”
Pervaiz Khattak also spoke of the problems in the province, stating that his party had come with solutions.
