PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s Pervez Khattak has taken oath as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister at a ceremony held at the Governor’s House.
KP Governor Shaukatullah Khan Engineer administered oath to Khattak at the ceremony attended by senior leaders of the PTI, Jamaate-e-Islami, Aftab Sherpao's Qaumi Watan Party and senior bureaucrats.
PTI emerged as the largest party in the KPK in May 11 polls and managed to get the coveted post of chief minister after entering an alliance with the JI and Qaumi Watan Party.
JI's Sirajul Haq and QWP's Skinadar Sherpao also took oath as senior ministers during the ceremony.
