The officials assured Rashid Godil that he will be provided the necessary security in case such a need arose in future, said a Rangers spokesman.
He said a flower bouquet was also presented to the MQM leader on behalf of Sindh Rangers.
Rashid Godil is presently recovering from bullet wounds he suffered during an armed assault targeting his car a few weeks back. His driver lost his life in the attack.
