Syed Haider Shah has officially assumed charge as Pakistan’s new ambassador to the Netherlands.
He becomes the 23rd Pakistani envoy to the country.
Shah began his diplomatic career in 1995 with Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Over the years, he has served in various key postings, including assignments in the United States, India, and Nepal.
Speaking exclusively to Jang after taking up his new role, the ambassador said that "every Pakistani is an ambassador of the country" and that overseas Pakistanis represent the true face of the nation.
He emphasised the importance of each individual's role in contributing to Pakistan’s development and prosperity.
Shah also praised the patriotism of the Pakistani diaspora in the Netherlands and assured them of unwavering support.
He further said that he would leave no stone unturned in addressing issues faced by overseas Pakistanis, including the restoration of PIA flights and other concerns.
