KARACHI: At least four people sustained injuries in Karachi in separate incidents of violence, here on Friday.

According to rescue sources, unidentified men opened fire on Banaras Bridge, injuring two persons. One of them was identified as Bashir, son of Rahim, 25, while the identity of the 30-year-old second injured was not ascertained. The injured were shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi and Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC), respectively.

In another incident, 20-year-old Shahzeb, son of Ghauri, was wounded near Abul Hassan Ispahani Road after firing from unidentified men. The injured was shifted to a private hospital.

Separately, a 25-year-old man was injured near Lyari Expressway in Surjani Town. He was identified as Bilal, son of Dur Mohammad, and was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi for medical treatment.
