No one should worry about political meetings: Pervaiz Rashid
ISLAMABAD: Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Pervaiz Rashid, Saturday said that the federal government respects the mandate given to the Pakistan People's Party by the people of Sindh, Geo News reported.

In a statement issued here the minister said that meetings are part of political process and nobody should worry about a particular meeting.

This clarification came after speculations, regarding imposition of probable governor, started doing rounds following a meeting between Prime Minister, Mian Nawaz Sharif and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), leader Mumtaz Bhutto.

The panic that ensued after this meeting was evident from Sindh Information Minister Sharjeel Inam Memon statement that Sindh government was being threatened with the imposition of governor rule.

Earlier, talking to newsmen here, Memon said that any attempt to bulldoze Pakistan People's Party's (PPP) mandate would be retaliated, adding if anybody wanted to join treasury benches in Sindh then they should contact the PPP.

Lashing out at Mumtaz Bhutto, he said that his (Bhutto's) personality was not suited to the position of a governor.

"He is only good at seeking thrill from fighting dogs and cocks", Memon added.
