LIVERPOOL: Liverpool on Thursday agreed a deal with Spanish side Celta Vigo for striker Iago Aspas, the English club said on its website. The 25-year-old Aspas scored 12 goals in 34 games last season, a vital contribution that helped Celta avoid relegation.
If the paperwork is completed, Aspas will become Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers's second signing of the summer following a deal for defender Kolo Toure who was signed from Manchester City. (AFP)
