National leaders condemn Quetta blasts
ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister (PM) Mian Nawaz Sharif have strongly condemned a series of bomb blasts targeting a bus at a Women University and a medical facility in the countries southwestern Balochistan province.

The blasts led to killing of 11 female students when a blast ripped through a bus parked in the university. Two other blasts occurred in the Bolan Medical Complex, where injured from the university blasts were being treated. Four nurses were also killed in the hospital.

President Zardari and PM Sharif directed the authorities concerned to provide best possible medical assistance to the injured.

PM Nawaz Sharif prayed for the departed souls and fast recovery of the injured.

National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq and Deputy Speaker Murtaza Javed Abbasi have also denounced the terrorist attacks.

On the other hand, Muttahida Qaumi Movement Chief Altaf Hussain, Pakistan Muslim League-Q leader Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and other political leaders condemned the acts of terrorism in Quetta city, terming the blasts as cowardly and inhuman acts and expressed their heartfelt sympathies with the bereaved families.
