MQM MPA Sajid Qureshi murder suspect's sketch released

KARACHI: The police have issued the sketch of the suspect involved in the assassination of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Sindh Assembly member Raza Sajid Qureshi, who was gunned down along with his son here on Thursday.

Investigators working in collaboration with the cops released the sketches to the media, which drawn with the help of eyewitnesses.

On the face of it the suspect seems to be a fair complexioned male in his twenties.

Qureshi, 53, was shot dead along with one of his sons, Waqas Qureshi, 27, after unidentified assailants opened fire on them outside Masjid-ul-Huda in block-B, North Nazimabad, after Namaz-e-Juma.

The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility for the attack.

MPA Sajid Qureshi was elected from PS-103 constituency of the Sindh Assembly.
