President Asif Zardari condemns killing of foreign tourists

KARACHI: President Asif Ali Zardari Sunday strongly condemned the terrorist attack on foreign tourists in Fairy Meadow area of Diamer, Gilgit Baltistan, causing death of nine foreign tourists and their Pakistani guide.

Expressing his deep shock and sorrow over the unfortunate incident, the President said such acts of barbarity would not be tolerated and urged the concerned authorities to take stern action against perpetrators of the heinous crime.

Expressing sympathies with the bereaved families, the President said that the government and people of Pakistan share the grief and sorrow with the bereaved families at this hour of distress.

The President assured that every possible action would be taken to nab the culprits involved in the heinous act and to bring them to Justice. (APP)
