LONDON/KARACHI: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has said that Pakistan’s prevailing situation is like that of sinking Titanic.
Addressing members of the Coordination Committee simultaneously in Pakistan and London, he said that people sitting at the upper deck of the Titanic were misleading the people of Pakistan.
“Titanic of Muslim Ummah is also sinking, if emergency measures were not taken, the vessel will be destroyed,” he added.
Hussain was of the view that the same tall claims were being made about Pakistan, which were made about the Titanic.
He said that state Radio was telling the people of West Pakistan that the army was making advances in the East wing of the country while on the other hand 93,000 troops had surrendered to the India army.
