ISLAMABAD : The Chief Justice of Pakistan, Justice Iftikhar Muhammed Chaudhry has excused himself from hearing Pervez Musharraf’s bail-suspension case, and has instructed that the case be forwarded to another Judge, Geo News reported.
The Supreme Court bench was hearing the bail-suspension case filed by petitioner Aslam Ghumman Advocate challenging the High Court order disposing off the treason charges and allowing bail to be posted for Pervez Musharraf in the Judges detention case.
The Chief Justice, excused himself from hearing the case and ordered that the case be put up before a different bench at the next hearing, following which the hearing was adjourned.
