QUETTA: Cases have been registered against six personal guards of PML-N MPA Sanaullah Zehri for forcefully entering the premises of the Balochistan Assembly. The cases were registered on the directives of the Balochistan High Court.
Earlier on Friday, the Balochistan High Court had expressed anger over the non-registration cases against the personal guards. Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Esa heard a suo moto case pertaining to suspension of SSP after a brawl at the provincial assembly.
The CJ inquired from the CCPO whether any case was registered against the men involved in manhandling of policemen. He said the court took suo motu late night, asking what action was taken by police during the last 24 hours.
The CCPO assured the court that although there had been a delay, the FIR would definitely be registered into the incident. The CCPO further said that he had not received any order regarding transfer or suspension of SSP from the provincial chief secretary.
On Thursday, the guards of Zehri entered the provincial assembly and manhandled policemen. Following the incident the SSP was suspended by Chief Minister Dr Abdul Malik Baloch for misbehaving with the minister.
