Second blast in Karachi kills three, injures two

KARACHI: Three people lost their lives while one other sustained wounds as a result of a blast in a residential apartment on the third floor of a building located in Patel Para neighbourhood here, Geo News reported Saturday quoting police sources.

According to sources, police and forensic teams were ascertaining the nature of the blast and collecting evidence from the blast site.

The above blast is second such event that occurred within a couple of hours of another.

The first blast took place near Essa Nagri area here where a bomb planted on a motrcycle went-off, injuring Metropolitan Commissioner, Matanat Ali Khan and his guard.
