Capital cops book 31 for criminal activities

ISLAMABAD: The Capital police on Thursday apprehended 31 accused and recovered 211 bottles of wine, one and a half kilogramme of charas, a motorcycle, nine mobile phones, two Kalashnikovs, three pistols, two guns with ammunition and stolen items from their possession.

Following the directives of SSP Islamabad Muhammad Rizwan and SP Saddar Zone Jameel Ahmed Hashmi, a Golra police team during checking arrested two accused Muhammad Anwar Zaib and Muhammad Saen from Islamabad chowk and recovered two Kalashnikov along with 77 rounds from them.

During the search operation, Sub-Inspector Nusrat Ali arrested accused Muhammad Naeem and recovered one and a half kg charas.

Assistant Sub Inspectors of Police station of Golra Turab-ul-Hassan and Tipu Sultan nabbed accused Ziaullah and Bakht Munir and recovered 30 bore pistol and one 8mm rifle.

Tarnol police station Inspector Munir Khan, ASI Ali Khan during search operation apprehended accused Rashid Ali, Shahid Mehmood and recovered one 30 bore pistol and one 12 bore gun.

Police station Ramna`s ASI Muhammad Nawaz arrested accused Umar Khayyam, Aizaz and Anum Yusuf involved in immoral activities.

Police station Margalla Inspector Shafqat Mehmmood arrested Ashfaq Masih and recovered 54 bottles of wine, while CIA police arrested accused Javed Irfan and recovered mobile phones.

ASI Umar Hayat of Police station Aabpara during a search operation arrested accused Altaf Masih and recovered four bottles of wine. While Inspector Tahir Khan nabbed Zeeshan and recovered 105
bottles of wine.

Police station Kohsar ASI Safdar during a search operation arrested Naeem Ashir and Faraz Ejaz and recovered 45 bottles of wine.

Police station Secretariat ASI Muhammad Farooq arrested Rameez and recovered three bottles of wine.

Police station Kohsar Inspector Nisar along with a team on a tip off arrested seven accused involved in gambling and recovered Rs9,100 and seven mobiles.

Police station Shahzad Town SI Tariq Rauf arrested three accused Ghulam Ishfaq, Aurangzaib and Shafqat Hussain involved in robberies and recovered a motorcycle from them.

Inspector Qaim Ali Shah arrested accused Muhammad Shafique and recovered a 30 bore pistol. Police station of Loi Bher arrested Rahil, Noba Rahil, Azhar Shaheen and recovered a mobile phone. (APP)
