CHAMAN: At least two people were killed and over ten others including women and children injured in a blast at a railway station here on Wednesday.
According to initial reports the bomb was placed near the ticket counter and waiting area at the railway station which were destroyed. Eyewitnesses and officials said the bomb was planted on a motorcycle.
Security forces and rescue teams reached the site of the blast as several people were left trapped under the rubble. The blast took place when a train was leaving for Quetta.
The injured were rushed to the civil hospital in Chaman where emergency was declared.
