The PCB served the notice on Friday, asking the former wicket keeper to prove his allegations against the board.
Latif has alleged that an Indian bookie Annu Bhatt was a guest of the Pakistan Cricket Board.
The board said legal action would be taken against the ex-cricketer if he failed to prove his allegations within three days.
