Police said the miscreants first hurled a hand grenade and then opened fire at the container-truck. As a result a taxi driver and a passer-by sustained injuries.
Soon after the attack the police rushed to scene and cordoned off the area.
The container truck was on its way from Afghanistan to Karachi. (PPI)
