QUETTA: A blast that struck Quetta's Sariab Road Sunday left at least two persons dead and six more injured, Geo News reported.
According to police, an improvised explosive device (IED), planted in a bicycle, was used to perpetrate the blast at Khalifa Gali (street).
Superintendent of Police (SP) Sariab area confirmed the casualties.
According to Deputy Inspector General (Investigation), Syed Mubeen Ahmed, the bomb/device, which was packed with approximately 7 kilograms of explosives, was detonated by a remote-control.
Security forces have cordoned off the blast-site, while investigators were collecting forensic evidence.
