Ch Nisar says some forces want to sabotage peace talks with Taliban

ISLAMABAD: Federal Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar, Thursday, claimed that certain powerful forces were bent on sabotaging the peace process with Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Geo News reports.

"Some 'vested interests', which hold sway in the power corridors, have spun into action against the government initiative to negotiate a ceasefire with Taliban so that they could use the prevailing anarchy to their advantage", said he in a statement issued here.
