NEW DELHI: Indian visas have been issued for the Faisalabad Wolves and the team will now be able to participate in the Champions League T20 tournament.
The Indian government had initially denied visas to the team citing safety and security concerns. The Misbah-ul-Haq lead squad will depart for India on Saturday and play their qualifying round match on September 17.
Prior to being issued the visas, the team’s manager Haroon Rasheed said the players were focused on their cricket and hopeful of appearing in the tournament.
