21 foreign students held in raid on two Gujranawala seminaries
GUJRANAWALA: The police in a raid on Madressa Mazahirul Uloom and Anwarul Uloom located at Sheranawala Bagh arrested twenty-one foreign students on the charge of living in the country with incomplete documents, Geo News reported on Sunday morning.

Sources said that Muttahida Majlis-e-Amal (MMA)’s former member National Assembly (MNA) Qazi Hameedullah owns these 30/32 year old seminaries, where foreign students were said to be studying and living in the country with incomplete documents.

Police said that the students were taken into custody for possessing incomplete travel documents, while some of the students belonging to Afghanistan were staying in the country illegally. The arrested students have been shifted to an unknown place for further investigation and ascertaining their nationalities.
