CHANDIGARH: The unprofessional attitude towards the Faisalabad Wolves by Indian authorities continues as the team was not issued visas for Chandigarh where they are scheduled to play their opening match.
The players were forced to shift out of the city after it was discovered that their visas were only valid for Mohali. The team had to shift out of their hotel rooms to the clubhouse at the Punjab Cricket Association stadium.
According to the Punjab Cricket Association Joint Secretary, the Indian cricket board is in touch with the Ministry of External Affairs and Home Ministry so that their visas are issued for Chandigarh.
The team arrived in India on Saturday to compete in the Champions League T20 tournament after earlier being denied visas on the grounds that they faced a security risk.
