PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court on Tuesday has restricted the Khyber Pahtunkhwa government from calling the Army back from Malakand Division, Geo News reported.
While hearing the missing persons' case, Chief Justice of PHC Justice Dost Muhammad Khan remarked that the KP government should not act in haste to pull out the Army from Malakand. He further said that the Interior Ministry and the Army should be consulted over the matter.
The CJ PHC continued saying that the Army has been deployed to maintain peace and there is no harm if it stays longer for the same purpose. He said that pulling out the Army could create hurdles for the government.
