MOHALI: Sunrisers Hyderabad continued their strong form with their batting and bowling both to beat Faisalabad Wolves by seven wickets here at the Punjab Cricket Association Stadium on Wednesday.
Chasing 128, Hyderabad completed their victory losing three wickets with 15 balls remaining.
Earlier, winning the toss, they put Faisalabad into bat and restrict them to 127 for five wickets in 20 overs.
Faisalabad relied on their captain Misbah-ul-Haq again, who top-scored with an unbeaten 56.
Sunrisers were given another strong start by Parthiv Patel and Shikhar Dhawan and even though they were dismissed, Sunrisers cruised home with ease.
With that Faisalabad are out of the CLT20 and Sunrisers Hyderabad and Otago Volts are through to the main stage. The remaining dead rubbers will be played on Friday.
