ISLAMABD: The Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan has denied contact with former PML-N lawmaker Javed Ibraheem Paracha hours after the media reports said that TTP chief Hakimullah Mehsud telephoned him.
A TTP spokesman said that neither Mehsud nor he talked to Paracha over the telephone. According to earlier reports, Mehsud has made contact with the former Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz lawmaker Javed Ibraheem Paracha.
Paracha had also confirmed that Mehsud had telephoned him and given a list of 50 prisoners, demanding their release.
Paracha said that the prisoners were associated with the TTP and sectarian outfits Sipah-e-Sahaba Pakistan (SSP) and Lashkar-e-Jhangvi (LeJ).
