NEW YORK: Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif reached London on Sunday after representing Pakistan at the United Nations General Assembly and holding bilateral meetings with key world leaders.
Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leaders and workers welcomed the premier at the Heathrow Airport.
During his visit, the Prime Minister met his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh seeking to reduce tensions between the two South Asian neighbours.
He outlined his foreign policy vision in an address to the General Assembly and urged the need to address the longstanding Jammu and Kashmir dispute.
