DERA GHAZI KHAN/FAISALABAD: Pakistan Muslim League (N) candidate Shamoona Ambreen Qaisarani has won provincial assembly seat PP-240 in by-polls.
According to unofficial results, PML-N's Shamoona Ambreen Qaisarani secured 47,467 votes while her rival independent candidate Khawaja Dawood Sulemani bagged 19,569 votes.
Similarly, the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) candidate Sheikh Khurram defeated PML-N candidate Khuwaja Liaquat in Faisalabad PP-72 by-election.
Kurram secured 23972 votes while rival got 17625 votes. Previously, the seat was won by PML-N Khuwaja Islam who was disqualified after his degree proved fake.
